Biography: 

J. Thomas Conroy, III, (“Tom”) has been a resident of Naples since 1963.  He graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1983 with a double major in accounting and philosophy and returned to Naples to engage in commercial real estate sales, for which he still maintains a Broker’s license.  He earned his law degree from Stetson University College of Law, cum laude, in 1987, where he served on the Stetson Law review, and was an Associate Justice for the school’s Honor Court.  His practice has always focused exclusively on commercial and residential real estate transactions, preparation and review of loan documentation and related matters.  In 1991, he formed Morrison & Conroy, P.A., which firm has transitioned to Conroy, Conroy & Durant, P.A.  He presently specializes in the representation of residential and commercial developers for the development of major anchored shopping centers, apartment development, commercial and residential condominium developments, and commercial subdivisions.  Tom became a Board Certified Real Estate Lawyer of the Florida Bar in 1993, which Certification he continues to hold.  He has spent many hours involved in numerous civic organizations, including the Rotary Club, the Mental Health Association, the Depot, the Chamber of Commerce, as well as the Naples Area Board of Realtors.  He served on the Board of the Mental Health Association from 1988 to 1995, where he was President in 1993.  He served on the Board of the Naples Area of Board of Realtors from 1992 to 1996, where he was its President in 1996.  He is proud to be a member of the Leadership Collier Class of 1996.  Tom served as Vice-Chair of Leadership Collier for the Class of 1999, and Chairman of the Leadership Collier Class of 2000.  Tom and his wife Kimberly, have four children, John, Caitlin, Patrick and Michael.
